Town Fen Bed & Breakfast is a friendly family-run home which is part of a thriving willow business and artist's studio. A true retreat (with the emphasis on 'treat') Town Fen offers a ground-floor en suite bedroom with king-size bed with a nearby sitting area which looks out over beautiful garden views and the tranquility of the willow marshes.

Town Fen Bed & Breakfast has a friendly, sociable atmosphere, and guests are welcome to watch willow-maker Robert Yates at work in his nearby workshop, or to enjoy Susie's paintings and sculptures which are found throughout the house. They will also enjoy exploring the medieval market towns of Beccles and Halesworth (both only a short drive away), and the fashionable seaside villages of Southwold and Walberswick. Norwich with its cathedral is about 40 minutes away. Back at Town Fen there is always an abundance of wild and bird life for the nature enthusiast.

The couple's willow show garden opens in June 2002, allowing visitors to experience firsthand the versatility and beauty of willow combined with nature.

The Main House

The first thing to strike guests when they enter Town Fen is its warm coral walls and spacious vaulted ceilings. Built and designed by owners Robert and Susie Yates, the property combines country charm with modern lines. Central heating is available throughout the property. A full English Breakfast is served in the garden room, which looks out over garden and fields.

The Guest Bedroom with En suite Bathroom

The Town Fen guest bedroom with en suite bathroom is located on the ground floor and has easy access from the front door. Situated in its own wing, the bedroom is pleasantly decorated with a king-size bed, television, central heating and wardrobe and is near the garden room where guests can enjoy the surrounding countryside. There is a double bedroom nearby; ideal for an older child or adult who doesn't mind sharing the Guest Room en suite bathroom.

Rates

The rate is £60 for the double room for the first night and £55 for each subsequent night. This rate includes full English breakfast.
